Mr. Nicolas Lepage is a senior Canadian diplomat and international business leader with over 25 years of experience advancing trade, investment, and innovation across global markets. He currently serves as Counsellor (Commercial Affairs – Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) and Regional Senior Trade Commissioner for the Baltics, based in Riga, Latvia. In this role, he leads Canada’s commercial engagement across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania—three globally recognized digital leaders—supporting Canadian companies and fostering partnerships in sectors such as digital technologies, clean tech, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing. Mr. Lepage’s career has been defined by his work at the intersection of innovation, international trade, and economic diplomacy. Prior to his current posting, he served as Counsellor and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Embassy in France, where he was responsible for investment attraction, innovation, and academic and scientific cooperation. Earlier, he served as Counsellor (Commercial) and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Embassy in Warsaw, Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Mumbai, Senior and Regional Trade Commissioner for West Africa and as Trade Program Manager at the Embassy of Canada in Indonesia.
