Gintarė Verbickaitė is the CEO of Unicorns Lithuania, an association representing over 130 high-growth startups and scaleups. She leads the organization’s efforts to strengthen Lithuania’s startup ecosystem, accelerate scale, and shape policy frameworks that support innovation-led economic growth. With 20+ years of international experience across Australia, Estonia, and Lithuania, Gintarė has held senior roles spanning management consulting, foreign direct investment, economic development, and strategic policy. She has a strong track record of building ecosystems, attracting global technology companies to invest, and positioning emerging markets on the international innovation map.

Before her current role, she served as Head of the Technology Sector Team and VP of Global Growth at Invest Lithuania, where she contributed to the country’s rapid emergence as a leading European fintech hub. She has been actively involved in advancing fintech regulation and strengthening Lithuania’s competitiveness in global tech. Gintarė was recognized as Fintech Leader of the Year 2024 for her contribution to the sector. She is also the founder and former President of the Australian Lithuanian Business Council and has been a long-standing advisor to Global Lithuanian Leaders.
